The panel at WBZ-TV

At the Wednesday, April 24, 2013 meeting...
Our Annual NAB Roundup

It was an exciting meeting with much banter and wit as our Panel of Experts discussed the latest developments at NAB and in our industry. At a particularly auspicious moment with much discussion of how some of the latest gear was or could have been a significant factor in the coverage of the recent Marathon bombings.

The audience was packed. Not just with industry professionals, but also students from the recently revived student chapter at Fitchburg State College.

Here are some pictures from the meeting - a fuller description of exactly what was said is to follow...

John Rule, CEO, Rule Boston Camera

Mike Keller, Director of Engineering, Eastern Region, Hearst Corporation

Rich Mavrogeanes, President/CEO, Discover Video

Willis Peligian, Owner and Principal Consultant, The Willis Group

Moderator Phil Ozek, Senior System Administrator at Liberty Mutual Insurance, garnered much praise for keeping things interesting. Here he is (R) talking with John Allen, Consultant, Founder and President of High Performance Stereo, after the panel session.

The panel - still friends - after the discussion. From L to R: Phil Ozek, Rich Mavrogeanes, Willis Peligian, John Rule, Bob Lamm and Mike Keller.
