It just keeps on getting bigger, and not just because there's more to see and more people come! This year, we had a really impressive roster of exhibitors which included the new Discreet Smoke 6 on Linus, the new Apple Final Cut Pro 4, the newly rebranded Sony Vegas Video, Quantel Grass Valley/Thomson's news editing system, several high-end animation and compositing packages, a complete studio-in-a-box and the new portable disk recorders that piggyback onto camcorders and can also hook up directly to editing systems.

Master Chef Paul beck outdid himself as he always done with a really impressive spread. Delicacies included the best clam chowder I've had in a loooooooong time.

Hidden in the crowds were some visitors from the New York SMPTE Section: They're thinking of starting a Post-Production Showcase of their own and wanted to see how we do it!
