We had so many exhibits this year we had to order extra tables and ask our power guys to come back and add outlets. We barely fit inside WCVB-TV's main studio - New England's largest soundstage!

Nevertheless, it was a unique opportunity to see some of the most sophisticated editing, effects, animation, compositing and streaming systems on the market. These include specialized products for news production, HDTV, film and advanced web-streaming. All systems were available for hands-on use with technical personnel from the manufacturers to explain and answer questions.

A new feature this year were a couple of tables dedicated to Boston-Area User Groups. These are organizations of users of particular products that one can join in order to get unbiased answers and assistance.

And as usual, Paul Beck was on hand with his extensive selection of munchies!
